Sarnia Lambton Families Adopting | Sarnia/ Lambton County Events Photographers

If you read our photo blog regularly, you know that we are in the process of adopting. I don't say a whole lot about it on here as it is not our family blog. However, I thought it would be a good idea to let those of you in the Lambton County area know that there is an adopting families group in the area. We meet a couple times a year and are very informal, but it is a good time of getting together and sharing the ups and downs of the adoption process.

We usually have one get-together where all the children are invited to come too and then during the winter months, the women might get together one evening for coffee, and we have another evening where we all get together as couples. Books are shared and passed around. Lows and highs are also shared. It's good! It's nice to have other families who understand the adoption process with whom we can share.

Yesterday was the family get-together at our home. Ten adults, and eighteen children made for a fun and interesting evening. The kids just played and played while we relaxed around the fire. And the food... yum!!
