The Snowbirds flew in yesterday afternoon. We didn't see them, but we could hear them. So the kids and I hopped in the van and drove to the Chris Hatfield Airport in Sarnia to see what we could see. I'm so glad we went because it rained heavily off and on all day today, and tonight the fog rolled in on a north breeze off good old Lake Huron grounding the planes.
There was no airshow, but we did have an enjoyable evening with friends who graciously opened their home for a whole bunch of to us to watch from what would have been some fabulous seats. Oh well, maybe next time.
Remembering moments, not days...
