We were privileged to be a part of a very important day in the K family. They have been married fifty years! Wow! I hope we get to celebrate fifty years!
The day began under overcast skies with warm and humid temperatures. We were all glad for the cloud cover as the boat set off on a river cruise. It was lovely out on the water.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious lunch, while Murray and I strolled the boat and took photos of the guests enjoying their food and drink, chatting, and/or watching the shoreline slip by.
There was cutting of the cake and all the grandchildren gathered round, so they gathered round Grandma and Grandpa for a quick photo. Aren't they a good looking group!?
Towards the end of the cruise, the sun peeked out and it was sweltering hot, but then it disappeared again in time to do a bunch of family portraits. Those however, I am saving for later.
Thank you K family for asking us to be a part of your special day. We hope you are blessed with many more enjoyable years!
Because we remember moments, not days...
