Spring is Exploding! | Sarnia/ Lambton County Photographers

I am always amazed at how a mere week can make such a difference when you wander in the outdoors in March. Come the end of February, many of us in the more northern climes itch to see signs of spring. Often the first sign is the arrival of the migratory birds such as the red wings and the robins.

Then usually within a week of their arrival, the things of the earth begin to pop!

The silver maples go from tiny buds...

To the flowers that make the keys...

that make me sneeze :o).

Awake, thou wintry earth -
Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, laugh forth
Your ancient gladness!
~Thomas Blackburn, "An Easter Hymn"

Because we remember moments not days...
