It's remarkable to think that we're almost a week in to the new year already! I always go into January with a little bit of trepidation about what the new year might hold. 2010 was a good year. I liked it. I would have liked to hold on to it a little longer. However, 2011 has something very exciting in store for us as a family, so at the same time, I'm happy to move forward into the new year. In the next couple of months our family size is going to increase by three precious little girls. We (my husband, our son, and I) will be flying to the Philippines to meet our daughters for the first time and to bring them home and begin adjusting to being a family of nine. Nine! I can hardly believe it! We'll be very busy helping all our children adjust to the changes and working to become a happy and cohesive family unit. I will be jumping back into homeschooling and will also continue to take photos as often as I can. Of course I'll have unlimited subjects right at home, but I'm looking forward to going out to do some sessions on occasion too.
I have several ideas swimming around in my brain of sessions that I would like to do besides family portraits. Some involve the completion of the addition that is going on our home and some involve some fun props and good weather. So pop by on occasion to see "what's up!" It just might pique your interest at having some photos done of you, your children, pet, or family.
Finally because what is a post with out a photo, here are some shots our current two youngest daughters having fun modeling under the hot lights.
Finally, to all those who have supported us in so many ways, we would like to wish you a very Happy New year! May you be blessed with God's abundance!
Because we remember moments not days...
