Down on the River | Sarnia/ Lambton County Family Portrait Photographers

We had the fun of doing our first shoot on the river last week. It is beautiful along the river! Aside from being very windy, the weather was beautiful -- as long as we didn't look to the north anyway!
We took I and L's first set under a gorgeous weeping willow because the sun was so bright when we first arrived.

When the sun disappeared behind a light cloud cover I asked if they would like to have some photos out over the water. They readily agreed and we found out the land we were standing on for the second set of photos used to belong to L's parents. L grew up along the river and when her parent's sold their house they bought this piece of land with the plan of building a cottage on it. In the end it was too small, but the pad where the boathouse was is still there. So it's really quite a special spot to have pictures taken!

Our last spot was just plain fun. I (no, not me) climbed in the tree and kept saying it was going to blow over in the high winds we were dealing with. In the end we all survived and hopefully the tree is still standing too.

We had a great time taking your portraits, I and L! We hope you will enjoy them too!

Because we remember moments, not days...
